The Firepower is a great move. Later for being a Corvette fighter. Isn’t that the Viper’s job? The Firepower should be a competitor to the baby Aston, new Jaguar, Maserati Coupe, and the Cadillac SLK . I could put the Porsche 911 in this category but the Viper handles that as well. Further, my impression of the car is that it is much more luxurious Viper. I am impressed with it and hope that Chrysler builds it.
The Hornet is a good idea if they can even only sell to their minimum target. They need the market share.

SPOT ON GSH. I LIKE IT BUT I LOVE THE DB9. THEY SHOULD MAKE IT, PLENTY OF PEOPLE WOULD HAND OVER SOME $$$.

I like it. It’s aggressive, different enough from the DB9 to be interesting, and the interior looks very nice. Also, the brake lights mounted on the sat/nav/radio “shark fin” are an excellent idea, I think.

I want a Hornet. It makes a great deal of sense for our market; and, DC should have a product in this segment, now, not later.

who owns the firepower name? anyone of consequence with a US market presence?

it’s a very strong design, no question. i would love to see a shootout between the vette and this vehicle (if/when it gets built), each development team pushing the other to create better/faster/morepowerful versions.

what a scene that would be for us all.

They can’t use the name firepower anyways. Someone else owns the name. But Firepower was the name that Chrysler used for their first Hemi engines in the 50’s.

yes, build the challenger, but not the hornet, the hornet is gay. and only build the firepower if it gets a design change and a new name, firepower sounds kinda stupid, especially for a chrysler.
