Judging by all the people who think it should be ok to continue to spread TOXIC metals across the country I think the lead poisoning retardation has already set it.

Even more interesting is that California and other West coast states have lightened the intensity of their gun control weenies, groups and programs. Why? Now their going for the ammunition. They’ve already made it illegal to carry some forms of bullets, lead in particular, claiming that they kill wildlife. I find it funny that despite their own funded studies, they couldn’t find any more than a few (in the double digits) animals throughout the western states that had died of “lead poisoning” from bullets.

But this isn’t just Chrysler. Many manufacturers of wheel weights use lead. I had lead weights in nearly every car I’ve ever owned, and I buy from just about any brand. The good news is that at least someone is taking a step in the right direction, albeit a minor step, but it’s a step. I really don’t think wheel weights are so big of a concern that we need to stop making them all together.

Hey, anyone remember the news from Michelin about the “Tweel”? Whatever happened to that thing? The closest thing I’ve seen to the Tweel is the wheel on my SkipDR CD/DVD repair system.

But I, too, would like to know what the replacement material is ‘cuz my wheels notoriously throw wheel weights here in Cali so if it gets anyworse, I’ll need to move solid billet wheels. har har
