Chrysler will follow up on its Imported From Detroit ad and marketing campaign that kicked off with the 200 sedan and continued through with the Dr. Dre 300S with a number of new models. This will include an 8 Mile-edition of the Chrysler 200 to commemorate the movie's 10th anniversary, a 300 Motown that's tied to the Broadway show Motown: The Musical, and several others.
Such so-called 'buzz packages' will also be applied to the Dodge Dart and Ram 1500. They are part of 66 future models Chrysler showed to dealers in September and should be out by 2014, Automotive News wrote.
A 300 Glacier model will cater to cold-weather markets, while a 300C John Varvatos (pictured) will offer high style to suit the Detroit native menswear designer. The former will arrive in 2012 and get an all-wheel drive system that has an active transfer case and can disconnect the front wheels without any action by the driver. The latter will be sold in 2013 and sport premium leather, hand-sanded matte wood, and chrome touches on the exterior.
Whether Eminem will once again feature in any of the ads, specifically for the 8 Mile car, remains to be seen. An ad for the 300 Glacier was recently completed, but hasn't yet been aired.
