Loos like a Malibu ripoff. Chrysler knows a good thing when they see one. Too bad theirs will be engineered to break within the first 90 days andtheir owners are going to wake their stupid asses up and head to their local GM dealer for the real thing.

Autonutt, you got me on the Aspen, my mistake. But I actually did mean the Liberty. The Liberty’s success is most likely the reason we are seeing so many other SUV type vehicles. The Compass, Liberty, and Patriot can all go IMO. The Liberty Renegade was unfairly tested against other vehicles in its so-called class and it was obliterated. Its a decent vehicle, but is it a Jeep? Discontinuing those three vehicles till leaves the Wrangler, the 4 Door Wrangler, the Commander (which needs some work), and the Grand Cherokee. And it leaves room for 2 more veichles…I would rather see like someone else said, a Comanche return. Take a Dakota and beef it up with Jeep trim and accessories. And then of course, everyone’s favorite Cherokee.

no jeep needs to kill the liberty too, and bring back the Cherokee and comanche. The compass is already dead to me, and im still holding out for the verdict on the patriot. Looks good but it probably sucks.

Piablo… I’m going out on a limb here by assuming you mean the Compass and Patriot could be done without, the Liberty has actually done pretty well for Jeep. And which Chrysler is based on the Grand Cherokee? The Aspen is based on the Dodge Durango. The next Liberty does share platforms (and lots of styling, unfortunately) with the new Dodge Nitro, and I would have to agree the Jeep version definitely should be beefed up.

I agree..Jeep should have just stuck with the Grand Cherokee, Wrangler and Liberty and Chrysler may have a profitable division.

Except they should have used the concept Grand Cherokee from a few years ago and taken a chance with the Wrangler redo instead of playing conservative.

Personally I think they are taking the Jeep brand way off base. They have diluted the image so bad its hard to tell what Jeep is anymore. The Compass and Liberty are two vehicles Jeep could do without. Jeep to me should stand for off road and heavy work horse. Now that there’s a Chrysler based Grand Cherokee, beef up the Jeep version. What about a Jeep brand pick-up? Serious traction and power with Jeep styling. This Trailhawk seems like a neat vehicle, but a highly appointed crossover with leather never makes it into the mud. Pointless if you ask me, in terms of Jeep.

I agree with A4. The Nassau shouldve been built in first place, not the new sebring! That sebring is a joke. Ive seen them up close at the dealership. What the hell?? Is it trying to be a hatchback or what?? The inside….. whoa…. lotta plastic! Ughhh.

Lets hope the sales are weak for the sebring and Chrysler will replace it with the new Nassau in 4 to 5 years!

Jeep looks good. I need a pic to show the whole body!! ha Guess ill have to wait till i see the auto show pics.

Hate to say it but other than some future provision for better crash and rollover safety…. a Jeep Wrangler is a Jeep Wrangler. Stop trying to muddle the model line by taking it into Grand Cherokee territory.

The Chrysler has lovely headlights. It *IS* rear-wheel-drive, yes?
