The automotive crystal ball is far from the most accurate device on the planet, but The Wall Street Journal has decided to fire up the old globe to see what products are in store for the new, Fiat-led Chrysler .
Chrysler will reveal its future product plans on November 4, but The Wall Street Journal claims to have the scoop on what will be included in the presentation. Chrysler’s future lineup promises to be radically different than what we see today, with the addition and subtraction of several nameplates.

New versions of the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Chrysler 300 are slated to launch next year as 2011 models. Chrysler fully unveiled the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee at the 2009 New York Auto Show but so far has only revealed a teaser image of the next 300’s interior.

Following on the heels of the new Chrysler 300, Dodge will likely launch a new version of the Charger sedan in early 2011. Fiat’s retro 500 hatchback will also hit Chrysler dealers in 2011, although it will be sold under the Fiat banner.

The calendar year 2012 will be a big year for Chrysler, with several new products slated to enter and exit the market. Fiat will relaunch its Alfa Romeo brand in the U.S. in 2012, starting with the stylish MiTo hatchback. A new mid-size sedan will also bow for the Chrysler brand – likely replacing the Sebring – as will a new compact model.

By 2012, Chrysler will do away with the Chrysler PT Cruiser, Chrysler Sebring, Dodge Nitro, Jeep Compass and Jeep Patriot . The Jeep Commander and Dodge Avenger will also be shed along the way, with Fiat even planning to ax the Dodge Grand Caravan . The Chrysler Town & Country will carry on as Chrysler’s sole minivan offering.

Early in 2013, Alfa Romeo will launch a new mid-size model in a bid to solidify the brand as an Audi and Infiniti alternative.
