Chrysler hasn’t had a whole lot to write home about in recent months as it struggles to emerge from bankruptcy – but without a doubt its new Ram Heavy Duty truck provides a ray of hope. Chrysler first offered a behind the scenes sneak peak with Klaus Obermeyer, the director behind the upcoming commercials who is well known for his extreme sports cinematography, and now we several of Obermeyer’s first masterpieces to share.

Chrysler broke off the truck division from Dodge this year, creating a separate – yet still included – Ram brand. Right out of the gates Ram Heavy Duty took home the Motor Trend Truck of the Year award, proving that Chrysler still has some heavy hitters up its sleeve.

Chrysler has now hired Klaus Obermeyer to make an extensive series of videos that are intended to entertain, inspire awe and instill respect and intrigue around Chrysler’s Ram trucks. Obermeyer uses many cinematic tools to capture dramatic footage of the Ram truck and the people that depend on it in action, hoping to make the truck stand out, and above the rest in a competitive and packed segment.

Chrysler promises a full series of action packed footage to follow, and we will be sure to share it with you right here on Leftlane’s Backpage.

For now, Chrysler has released the first handful commercials from Obermeyer, titled “Truck of the __,” “Lord Diesel,” “Workhorse,” “Secret Weapon,” and “Expectations.”
