Having myself worked on both sides of the industry, in a UAW factory as well as for a car dealer, I feel that I have the experience to at least speak with some confidence in things. Plus, 80+% of my family (uncles, cousins, dad, brothers, brother in laws, sister in laws) worked or still work (if not retired or dead) in the UAW. One of my family had the most seniority in one manufacturer for overall employees (60 years of service/employment), and one of my roommates was flown up by Iaccoca (while CEO) to speak with him and offer him a job. They take their time but when they're at work, they work. And their vacation time? How about well over a month every year.
