I wish the pacifica were smaller but the same shape. If the pacifica were a little bigger than a mazda 5, that’d be my favorite minivan, but it’s just too lardy. I could see myself going in to buy one of these and walking out with a town-and-country instead because of the better space usage in spite of the marginally worse driving experience and worse looks. Or more likely, I’d leave and buy an odyssey, or (in my dreams) realize I have a ton of cash and buy an R63. lol

See, I like comments like BMW4LIFE’s, because he explained his opinion. He didn’t just say “it was great.” I dont like comments like the last one Ahk-Med left (nothing personal ahkmed, its just a good example) because he didn’t explain himself, and I got nothing out of it. I’d love to hear more thought out, well explained comments (either for or against the car in question) like BMW4LIFE’s above. That would make the comments on this site more productive.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but what good does an opinion do anyone else? Lets try to be more productive with our comments. Sound good?

I had a Pacifica rental for a weekend and all I could think of was how much it reminded me of the 1985 Dodge Caravan my Pop’s comany used as a delivery van.

I once had a chrysler pacifica as a rental car when I went to the rockies in CO. What a great car. First, I must compliment Chrysler on the interior. For a car this cheap, they did a great job with the interior. The car is so flexible. The seats move in so many directions, and it has a classy, non-minivanish feel.Don’t let your eyes fool you, this car is huge, but it doesn’t drive like it. It drives like a car, yet takes on hills,snow, and ice like an SUV. I must say if I was looking at a car in this price range and needed an SUV this would be the car.It really was a great car.

About the registry, it’s a darn good idea. Go over to Edmunds.com forums and you dont hear idiots posting stupid comments about nothing. They have hosts and they can control your account. LLN could you consider such a system? Or at least one that deletes stupid messages that are so frequently posted.

It looks like a Lexus.

I think they did a nice job with the interior, but nothing makes a good interior better like a well-implemented satnav screen. To me it looks like there is a lot of wasted space around the center console. When I first noticed the little clock facing the driver I thought it looked like a stupid afterthought, but I kind of like it now. Maybe it’s not, a clock. I can’t really tell. If it’s not, that would explain it’s weird position. Overall I think it looks vaguely like the interior found in the Tribeca.

why a registry? when people get off of subject or just plain stupid, ignore them. they get the gratification of posting, but wont do it again, since no one will rebute their nonsense. just keep going with the topic. like ignoring a bully in grammer school…sounds gay but it might work.

Moderated comments would improve the site, but then the number of adds served would go down. It doesn’t matter if someone is posting asswipe/dimwit/racism, as long as they are here and having ads served to them. LLN isn’t a blog run by enthusiasts for enthusiasts, its an excuse to serve ads. The idiotic ranting and comments here are more of an attraction than all the lifted content, I hope nothing changes.

My sister just called me and said i was on COPS! Did anyone else see it? i was the guy with out my shirt on smoking a cigarette infront of the trailer. Long story short, my neighbor told me my S10 was a POS. So i hit him with a pipe. I hope my sister taped the episode. Im sure she did, she is always so thoughful, thats why i married her.

I’m not sure, but after reading that blurb I’m thinking that there are too many optional features/trim levels to choose from. Fully loaded these must approach the far-superior MB R350 in price… And about time they ditch that POS 3.5 V6 (Also used in the pitiful Prowler)

The only picture worth having here is the Caddy race car, way cool! The Pacifica has nothing on the new Enclave and Outlook. Just a cheap imitator of a real truck. Super cheap Chryco junk.
