YEAH! Now the PT Cruiser looks much better. As does the Avenger, 300 and minivans.

If they had just done this logo a few years ago, they would never have needed a bailout.

Did Nardelli sketch this on a Pee-Che folder on his last day?

if theyre only going to use this logo thats retarded, if theyre gonna use this they need to use it with another more compact logo like the difference between the circle saab logo and the written saab logo with the little wings

I like it. It’s not too bad. They should update it since they will practically be re-inventing themselves. Below is an excerpt from AP today about Chrysler. The story also mentioned GM and Ford, but I only copied the the Chrysler part of it. LLN, why wasn’t this mentioned? It’s automotive news. Looks like you guys fell asleep at the wheel. Lol. I included the link.

“Chrysler, the maker of the Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram truck brands sold 65,803 vehicles last month, up 6 percent from September. That was when its sales slumped because dealerships could offer few popular models. The automaker, which is announcing a new product strategy on Wednesday, is aiming to show steady improvement from month to month.

Looking to boost November sales, Chrysler will offer a slew of new incentive programs this week. The carmaker will offer 0 percent financing for up to 48 months on all its vehicles, and a no-cost maintenance and service program its Jeep and Chrysler brands. Buyers also can opt for $2,500 off their purchase if they don’t take the no-interest financing. The deals begin Wednesday and run until Nov. 30.”

Yeah, It does look better than the older logo in my opinion. But just like most of you are saying, it is somewhat similar to other badges out there.

Dare I say, this design seems more minimalistic than the Aston badge. One could argue the Aston badge almost looks similar to other non-automotive logos as the ‘wings’ theme is quite a general theme…

Chrysler’s logo is simple to visualize – tubular, wound in a decreasing radius and increasing height. Pinch the tube closed at the top … you got it!

You guys trying to take pot shots on this emblem for looking something like Aston Martins really do not know what Aston’s mark looks like. Further where was this when Mini showed up again? That looks even more like Aston Martin’s mark. The winged emblem is no more and exclusive design trait or motif than a circular one, or a rectangular one, and so on. Get over your cheap shooting selves.

This looks good. I would simply hope the cars this mark is attached to look and are at least as appropriately good as well.

CarResearcher – You mean Fiat is going to go under – or Chrysler is just going to be Fiat in the future? If it was the second – you’re right – Chrysler will cease to exist as this is just a way for Fiat to reach this market. Chrysler name will stick around, for now, but I don’t know for how long. Dodge will eventually be dead and Jeep will be with the Ram truck brand and be sold off if Fiat is not successful in the next 10 years.

i like it more then there last one witch looked like a logo for beer or something alcoholic.
I would like to see the pentastar to be put in or or brought back is some way. not the one all filled in just the out line part.

I know everyone is going to say that a new logo is the last thing that Chrysler needs right now, but lets be real – new models are coming, but won’t be here for at least another year or three. A new logo isn’t going to change anyone’s decision to buy or not buy a Chrysler, but it does help break the company from it’s past. The logo looks nice and modern, and hopefully the next-gen cars will also be nice and modern.
