Now, about that awesome grill. I think it’s the first time I’ve seen the Citroen logo used so well. Hopefully, that makes it onto a production model.

It doesn’t have a B-pillar but does have frames around the door. I suppose they can call it a coupe if they want since they designed it but it pushes the limites of the definition.

Actually Priapism, look up coupe in the dictionary. It generally means 2 doors. “To cut” means that it has less interior volume. If they wanted to call it a coupe, they shouldn’t have given the back seats so much room. It’s got the rear legroom of a sedan, because that’s what it really is. Regardless of how outrageous it looks.

However, I completely agree with you on one thing, 1c3d0g is a tit.

That is 100% badass. I would save up serious $$$ to buy a car like that.

It’s really a shame that the car companies never build cars that actually look like concepts. I know many concepts are impractical, but if consumer products had a big emotional content I think the manufacturers would definitely see an increase in sales!

It’s interesting except for the sloping down in the back, but I like the wide stance.

One pet peeve though, why are European manufacturers insisting on calling sedans “four-door coupes”. A coupe has TWO doors and is shorter than a sedan. This thing is loooong and has FOUR doors. Just my 2 cents.

Pontiacs were Catalinas and Chevrolets were Sports, they all had dipping window lines. I didn’t realise that CHevy really only had 2 lines i the 50s The Corvette and the Bel Air based models. They were much more focussed in those days, though it seems all of GMS brands only had 1 size car with different names and trim levels

I think modern Citroen has the best styling among the French cars (Peugeot, Renault). Pity about the supposedly stodgy build quality and reliability compared to the Germans and the Japanese.

Buick Window lines used to do that in the 50s with their Riviera models, I think Oldsmobile’s Holiday models did it too. I don’t know what Pontiac’s hard top models were called but the hardtop sedan, wagon and coupe concept has always been very attractive. It is a shame structural rigidity has stopped this body style being so popular.

I like the car, but I found the bottom of the window line a bit unusual. Normally it would go straight or have a slight incline from front to back, but they reversed it and it has a slight decline from front to back. I can’t say I’ve ever seen anyone try this before; Atleast not successfully. Hats off to Citroen.
