Clarkson, May say Hammond okay

Top Gear stars Jeremy Clarkson and James May say they’ve visited with co-presenter Richard Hammond following his serious accident earlier this week, and they’re confident he’ll be okay. “I’ve had a conversation with Hammond today,” May said. “Not a long one, but it was a conversation [...] I’m not a doctor but I am his mate and I believe that deep inside the Hammond I know is perfectly intact.” Meanwhile, Mr. Clarkson reports a similarly encouraging encounter. Clarkson says he jokingly told Hammond, “the reason you’re here is because you’re a c driver.” The injured Hammond then reportedly smiled at Clarkson. “It was an amazing moment, very moving,” Clarkson said. Hammond’s condition has been downgraded from ’serious but stable’ to ’stable.’

Richard Hammond and the rest of the Top Gear crew are invincible. They are demigods. They cannot die. As long as we keep worshipping them and give them offerings, they will stay with us.
