SEMA preview: CGS Ford ReFlex

Customers may not be flocking to Ford dealerships to snatch up the automaker’s all-new Flex crossover, but we don’t think CGS Motorsports will have much trouble drawing a crowd at next month’s SEMA Show in Las Vegas with the company’s customized 2009 Ford Flex.

Best known for its cat-back exhaust systems and air intake systems, CGS has been creating one-off SEMA customs — particularly the Big 3 – over the last several years. This year’s entrant into the SEMA how is the company’s custom Ford Flex, appropriately dubbed the ReFlex.

Using a 2009 Ford Flex as a starting point, CGS handed the project over to Sean Smith of SS Designs. Smith then dressed the Flex up with custom paint by DuPont, a one-off body kit and unique 22 inch wheels.

The interior features plenty of leather and suede trimmings, a Kicker sound system and a navigation system by Clarion.

No word on any mods under the hood, but we’d put our money on at least a new exhaust and intake system. Check back for more details and live shots after the ReFlex makes its Vegas debut next month.

They’ve got to stop making these retarded “pimped-out” Flexes. It’s not like any soccer mom would want to be seen in that, or even the normal Flex either.

From what I’ve read a pig has more grunt than a Flex.

Don’t give us a REflex.

Give us an UNflex.

But hell, let’s wait and see.. maybe I’ll actually see one driving outside that two-mile radius around a ford dealership.
