Agreed! why make it look like a Carrera? But the added power is exactly what this model needs, as is quite openly admitted, power restraints have been put on the engineering of the Cayman S to preserve the 911. looks like its up to RUF to combine both power and looks into the model that will eventually supersede the 911. A good effort with the substantial power increase, just a shame about the styling.

The Cayman S could use a much larger engine as proposed here by Farnbacher Loles - great; but, Porsche and anyone re-building for them needs to dream and fabricate beyond Porsche family resemblances. Car design in general is muted, constrained and controlled by profit. Look at this poor car Farnbacher Loles amassed from Porsche parts: the only name I can think of for it is FrankenCockster-911. How about something original...? I know it might not be profitable... but, it's time!

That's a good design idea, but it probably looked better on paper then it does now. Now it looks like a chopped Cayman S. I can't help but wonder what the hell is up with Porsche. Why? How could they let this company dissect two beautiful cars, and mold them into one ugly brute. Beats me.

Such the stellar car the cayman! So why the 80's bling? bling? Deserves so much more in the way of styling.

Big mistake making the front end look like a Carrera. Neither Cayman owners nor Carrera owners want a Cayman to look like a Carrera.

I'll just take the motor for my Cayman :)
