Daimler’s Maybach brand is headed to the gallows, but that hasn’t stopped the German car company from raising prices for what might be the division’s last year on the market.
Prices are up almost across the board for Maybach’s 2012 lineup, which is essentially unchanged from last year. The “base” Maybach 57 increases from $375,250 to $379,050, while the 57 S jumps from $414,750 to $418,950.
Those interested in a long-wheelbase Maybach 62 will need to pony up similar premiums; the 62 goes from $426,250 to $430,450, while the 62 S increases from $465,750 to $470,350.
But the richest of the rich are spared a price premium since the range-topping Landaulet sees no change from its current $1,382,750 price.
All Maybachs are also subject to a $2,750 container shipment charge on top of those MSRPs.
If you’re in the market for a Maybach, you’d better place your order soon since Daimler is planning to replace the brand with some higher-specification Mercedes-Benz S-Classes in the next couple of years.
