In an effort to unload a large number of its slow-selling Crossfire roadsters and coupes, DaimlerChrysler has enlisted Overstock.com to help sell the vehicles at deeply discounted price points. The Crossfire is based on the previous-generation Mercedes-Benz SLK platform, and is arguably overpriced. Discounts range from 17.7 to 23.7 percent. The Roadster Standard is being offered for $7,690 off MSRP, while the Roadster Limited is discounted by $8,234 and the SRT6 is available for $8,926 off. On the coupe side of the spectrum, the standard version is $7,140 off MSRP, the Limited edition is available for $7,765 off, and buyers of the SRT6 version save $8,415.
