David Beckham X5 stolen… again

04/25/2006, 11:25 AM

By admin

British soccer star David Beckham lost another BMW X5 to thieves this week, according to Spanish media reports Sunday. The armored SUV was the second to be stolen in the past eight months. The first was stolen after he lent it to an assistant. The latest theft took place while Beckham having lunch with his sons. Beckham’s bullet-proof X5s are said to have been worth between £70,000 and £100,000 each. Following the theft of the car, Audi reportedly contacted Beckham about giving him a new Q7. He accepted the offer, according to Germany’s RPO. Audi sponsors Beckham’s Real Madrid soccer team.

How do thieves steal it?

Does Beckham leave the keys in the car?
Does BMW make their ARMORED vehicles a 2-second hot wire special?

You’d think they would fit a tracker to a security focused vehicle like that, especially after he had the first one nicked. What an idiot.

Also, why do they give away cars only to those who can most easily afford them?!

Beckham should buy an armoured Jag XJ instead ;)

If he really wants an SUV, Volvo’s XC90 PUV Concept woulda been awesome in armoured form!

Get a sodding Land Rover with armour…

Yeh, I agree – Audi stole it! :p

Get an armoured Audi S8 with a driver, that’ll solve all problems:
-Bullet proof security
-Cannot be stolen
-Transporter 2 style commuting!

[...] Beckam keeps getting his hundred-thousand-pounds bulletproof X5s stolen. Maybe switching to an Audi Q7 will help him keep possession of his vehicle? [...]
