If the possibility of late payments (based on credit history) warrants any discretion on the part of the dealer, then they shouldn’t sell you the car. Simple as that. Because you can’t afford it! But there are too many bigshots in this country that live beyond their means, and this might bring them back to reality, although I don’t agree with this level of control on the consumer. What a crock.
