Delphi strike could hurt Toyota, too

A strike by workers of embattled automotive parts supplier Delphi could cause Toyota as much grief as GM, according to TCC. It turns out Delphi os one of Toyota’s top three suppliers. “Delphi is really important for us,â€? confirmed Toyota media relations manager Dan Sieger. “If it runs into problems, it could hurt us, too.” He further stated that “we’ve been in close contact with Delphi management,â€? and stressed Toyota is “always monitoring the situation.â€?
