If LLN was in touch with German car mags they would know that VW sadly terminated the development of the VR6 and the 5 cylinder diesel engines shortly before tzhey were finished thanks to this environmental trend everybody is blidly following.. sad.. the last-Gen. Passat offered 8 cylinders, the current one only has 6 and the next one might be limited to 4…

A diesel with 300hp & 443 lb-ft of torque. Wow, it won’t be lacking in performance that’s for sure. As usual with VW, everything sounds great on paper but in reality it will be another unreliable VW that spends more time in the service station then on the road & about 3 years into its life the car will start falling apart.
