Detroit 2006: Chinese automaker shows sub-$10,000 car

01/10/2006, 11:54 AM

By admin

China’s Geely Automobile Company held a small press conference at the Detroit auto show yesterday, where it introduced the CK, its first automobile for the North American market, due in 2008. The CK will sell below the $10,000 level, according to the company. We’ve reported on Geely and other Chinese automakers before, but this is the first time a Chinese automobile has been displayed at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
