It’s getting harder and harder to name specific vehicle nameplates from the 1970s, let alone the names of available colors. However, one hue seems to stand out above all other in the automotive world, and Chrysler is bringing it back for 2010 – Plum Crazy.
Dodge doesn’t have much in the way of improvements planned for the 2010 Challenger, but the Michigan automaker will be adding a new color scheme to the Challenger mix – the iconic Plum Crazy. Dodge most recently resurrected retro-themed colors such as Go Mango and Top Banana on Daytona versions of the Charger sedan.

The Plum Crazy color scheme will be available on 2010 Challenger R/T and SRT8 models. Buyers will also have the option of black or white side stripes. Interior color options remain open, as well as a variety of piping and stitching choices — our vote goes for the white leather/purple piping example that is currently on display at the Detroit show.

The 2010 Challenger is available for order at Dodge dealers now but you better act fast as Plum Crazy will undoubtedly be a popular color choice.
