Why would these people try so hard to promote a car for which they have no prototypes, no real-world pictures, no factory, no legitimate scientists or engineers we’ve heard of associated with it, no financial backers to speak of (note they’re looking for “sponsors” to pay for this thing)?????
Don’t they know that people with 2 million dollars to spend on a car expect a certain degree of mystery, elegance and awe?
Not only is their website ****ty…it’s insulting to its visitors intelligence.

I mean, it rigs the way the car responds to petal presure based on what emotional state you’re in (it senses your emotional state). And that’s just the tip of the ice berg.

I tried to google “Alfred J. Dimora” after I read the site, and you can see this guy is totally dubious. He’s selling “sponsorships” for his car, sort of like NASCAR vehicles….and he claims he has all these unique technologies that will go in the car. Who are his suppliers? The CIA?….because Delphi, Bosch and the others don’t seem to be doing business with his clown….otherwise they would’ve advertised by now. And he claims to be putting his car out by 2008? If that’s the case, he’ll need much better renderings that these… This car is too inefficient, sloppy looking….This Dimora guy should spend more time making a good car instead of PR and bull**** marketing.

Wow, that’s really great…. now all I want to happen is for the rest of the auto manufacturers to make 300HP and rear drive a fairly common standard in normal cars.

That way I won’t have to feel as if 95% of cars are a waste for me to buy because they are underpowered to my tastes. And I can avoid messing with emissions systems.

1200 horsepower. Wow.

No, really… what will happen is that a few cars like these will show up more often with a $1 million price tag and the common cars of the world will become less and less powerful to 1970’s levels.

This is just too funny.

The front lines of the car are a total rip-off of the Ferrari 599GTB Fiorano, or the Panoz Esperante roadster, but they look elegant on those cars and ugly here. Also the hood, passenger compartment, and the tail-end of the car all look as though they were designed seperately and then slapped together… it just doesn’t work.
Also I have to agree with the other people – when I first saw the car I thought it was a rip-off of the Cadillac Sixteen – which I actually saw in person at an auto-show 2 years ago – a very elegant design on the Caddy, but here.

It almost looks like the designers were trying to create a modern updated Deusenberg. The fender vents suggest the exposed exhaust pipes, the rear looks “30″ish, but to my eyes, it all does not work. The Cadillac 16 was a car I would consider if I could afford it, but this disaster would not attract my dollars even if it were the same price as my MINI.

Agreed-this car will never see the light of day. They think it’s clever to include the letter “D” into nearly every design element. It’s laughable. Cheesy.
