Dodge will revive its GTS nameplate for a special, Mopar-ized version of its Dart sedan sometime next year, according to a brochure leaked on the Internet.
The brochure, which was posted at Dodge-Dart.org, shows off a number of interior and exterior changes, but no modifications to the Dart's powertrain.Â
The new look outside is dominated by a new matte black hood with what the enthusiast site is calling an "appearance" intake - in other words, it's not a functional air intake. Matte black trim also adorns the lowest portion of the body, including the front spoiler, rear diffuser and side sills. Up top, the Dart GTS includes a carbon fiber-looking roof applique.Â
Inside, white acents abound. Leather seats provided by Katzkin and bright aluminum pedal covers are also on board.Â
The Dart GTS builds on the upcoming Dart R/T, a model that is excuslively available with a 184-horsepower 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine.Â
The Dart R/T starts at about $22,500, but the GTS trim package will likely add at least $1,500 when it is launched next year.Â
