Regarding $1,000 rebate and clearing 2008 stock: Rebates on 2008 models run as high as $10,000 right now, so the point, as I see it, is that a rebate on the 2009 model has become necessary, in light of the massive 2008 rebates.

Yeah, I’m a little confused. How will putting a $1k incentive on the new trucks help the old ones to sell? I would think no incentive at all would help the old ones clear out from inventory, because of the price gap.

The nose on these look HUGE.

Looking at the interior of the truck, I have to ask……Why is there a T-bar shaped knob on a gated shifter on an automatic? Is there a lock button on the T-Bar on top of the gates?

As for the incentives, putting a $1K incentive on a 2009 can’t possibly help get rid of the excess inventory of ’08s. Am I missing something?

NOOOOO, no more rebates, so that the blue book will kill me even more in 3yrs. when I tread it in, I rather have 0% percent intrect rate of free gas…Thank Dodge…
