Dodge has announced that it will auction off the first three Challenger scheduled to roll off the assembly line next year. Set to be built at Dodge’s Brampton, Ontario assembly plant, the first three Challenger examples will be SRT-8 models with HEMI Orange paint, hood stripes and the 6.1L V8 engine.
The first car will be auctioned off at the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction in Scottsdale, Arizona which runs between January 12-20. All proceeds will benefit notMYkid, an organization that promotes understanding of youth behavioral issues. The second car will be auctioned off on September 26th, at a private event for Dodge dealers, with proceeds going to the United Way of Southeastern Michigan. The third car will be auctioned off on eBay, although Dodge has yet to release details on that auction.
