One of the first fruits of the Nissan - Chrysler agreement was unveiled yesterday at the Sao Paolo Auto Show in Brazil. Essentially a very thinly veiled version of the Nissan Versa sold in North America, the Trazo C1.8 is the result of an agreement between the two automakers that will see Dodge -badged small cars in certain markets and a Nissan-badged derivative of the next-generation Dodge Ram for North America.
The Trazo C1.8 goes on sale in mid-2009. Equipped with an E100-capable 1.8-liter, four-cylinder motor, the Trazo will be available with both automatic and manual transmissions, according to Dodge.

Changes from the North American-market Versa sedan appear to be limited to badging and small details.
