With the Lincoln Town Car officially out of production, limousine producers are apparently getting in touch with their creative side.

Unique Movie Cars, a company that currently rents our vehicle like the Mutts Cutts van from the movie Dumb and Dumber and KITT from "Knight Rider", will unveil its latest Dodge Viper limo at the upcoming Sam's Town 300 NASCAR race in Las Vegas.

Based on a first-generation Viper RT/10 Roadster, UMC's long-wheelbase creation should feel more at home on the Las Vegas Motor Speedway than a typical limo, but we'd still feel nervous attacking corners at high speeds. The Viper limo will be used to chauffeur Oscar Goodman, the host committee chairman for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, around the track before the race officially kicks off, according to AutoGuide.

UMC isn't exactly new to the world of Viper modifications as the company actually built several Dodge Vipers for the TV show "Viper". And for those concerned that a perfectly innocent Viper was chopped up simply for a publicity stunt, fear not - pictures on UMC's Web site indicate the donor Viper was acquired after a front-end collision took it off the road.

Dodge's next-generation Viper, which will actually be sold under the SRT banner, will debut in just a few weeks at the New York auto show.
