I wasn’t fan of past/current Element, but touch-ups worked for my taste. Lines are connecting now. I wonder what will be under the hood and what kind of package option will be available. In my book it looks head and shoulders above new and “improved’ CR-V. I expect 177-190 HP engines starting next year, which will make make it a bit springier.

I just hate how Honda has changed the look on the Acura TL. It looks really disgusting.

This looks downright horrible since the launch…face lift for what? This just suc**.and the front grill like the Pilot is just awful….I’m waiting for the Nissan cube to see if that is any better…

That is way more than a facelift.. the entire bodyside has changed, the wheelwells are now squared off and the unpainted panels are completely gone! It is an improvement, though a replacement is due.

I swear Honda is getting worse every year. The new Ridgeline’s grill is ugly, the Accord facelift is ugly, this new Element is ugly, the new Pilot is ugly, and the Civic facelift is ugly. Ohhh and don’t even get me started on Acura!

Dash looks good, they ought to put that in the Civic. New wheel openings look good. Grille just kills the whole thing. Whatdahell are they thinking with that? I like that camper thing, but too bad this thing won’t go anywhere worth camping at.

I personally like the Element because of its versatility. However, 1115, the “hose down” interior is not standard, and increases the price quite substantially. If I were to get one (perfect for my video equipment and my wife’s photography equipment, not to mention my two little kids), I’d for sure get that waterproof interior. But that thing is not a pretty car by any means.

As far as the bed and curtains, well, I guess that would go along with the “safe sex” for kids crowd… IF those kids can afford this thing. Last I checked, they were coming in at around $23,000 in my town for a mid range one, and I don’t think many conservative parents would buy something like this for their teens, either.

But, hey, for those who want to travel a lot, they can sell their home and just live in this car…

I think the facelift is a massive improvement.

It makes the front end look much more pleasing, and not bizarre for the sake of bizarre. The tail has made few changes, though. Which is okay, I guess.

Overall, while I’m not a huge fan of the Element, I think that it’s one of Honda’s better vehicles (I’d place it third behind the Civic and Fit). These updates should help matters.

I not a fan of this but i like its versatility Honda should put some marketing into the phrase Versa Utility or Sports Versatility Vehicle or something like that I had a friend who owned a catering company and the car was perfect bc of spills and cargo room
It seems like the car to have for a road trip or if you move a lot or if you are a young girl who is a whore bag (the seat fold down)

It’s a better try, but they are still getting it wrong. I wonder if they’ve messed around so much with it that they’ve gotten away from the original lines? If they just boxed it up more and took out some of the curves near the B/C pillars, then you would have a more muscular look.

I suppose there are some who could gaze upon their freshly detailed Element on a summer’s evening at sunset when the light and shadow are working together to bring out every nuance, and appreciate it as more than just a utilitarian though somewhat funky vessel in which to take part of the journey that they call life.

If you’re one of those people then trust me, it won’t look the same in the morning when you’ve sobered up.

Facelift? That’s like a facelift on Nancy Pelosi. It needs way more than just a facelift. Total overhaul is in order for this thing to even remotely look good.
