Heico Sportiv Volvo C30

10/31/2007, 5:00 PM

By Drew Johnson

German auto-tuner Heico Sportiv has unveiled its Heico Sportiv Volvo C30 at the SEMA show in Las Vegas. Like the S80 revealed earlier, Heico Sportiv has upgrade just about every part on the C30. The turbocharged T5 engine makes an even 300 horsepower in the Heico Sportiv C30, good for a 0-100 km/h time of 5.4 seconds and a governed top speed of 155 mph.

The Heico Sportiv C30 also has upgraded an upgraded suspension, wheels and brakes — featuring a 4-pot sport brake system and sport pads — as well as integrated spoiler flaps, three larger front air ducts and integrated fog and cornering lights. The tuned C30 also wears a unique body kit — with an integrated quad-exhaust system — and a surf-pattern design theme. The orange color of the surf-pattern is continued to the interior with orange-colored carpets, seatbelt and leather.

Too much orange everywhere. Make the surf graphics on the exterior optional and give a choice of colors for the interior, especially two-tone themes.

Finally Test drove one they are freakin sick!, With Heicos bodykit and some different wheels and an ECU remap, this thing rocks the A3.

And I bet with a Garrett GT3071R you could easily get 360+ with modest boost.

This kit is beautiful… wow, I really like over all. and if the orange leather was tinted just a little darker, that would be nice too.

however, 300hp on a FWD car… no thank you.

This car is just aching to have the Euro Focus drivetrain, then it would be my next car.

In the discontinued S60R, this engine had AWD to absorb the power. In a lighter, shorter package driving the front wheels only it will be a bear to drive. You can get the same effect in a Chevy Impala with more interior space at a cheaper cost.

As far as the interior goes, it’s designed to camouflage a family of Oompa Loompas…

This is my first intro to the C30. I love the car! So much that I went to the Volvo website to price one out… the C30 v2.0 base price is over $26,000 and loaded the way I wanted it was over $35,000. You have to be out of your ****ing mind if you think people will pay $35k for a loaded version of this car. The POS is front wheel drive ONLY!! I dont think I will be seeing many of these on the road.
Sorry for my half off topic rant…

“Upgrade almost every part”……..??????

This is what you have to do to a brand new stock dealership sold Volvo to make it go fast ???

You can spend this $$$ on a 1965 Falcon and make it go just as fast and handle just as well, keep changing parts with your wide open bank account.

Big deal, a lot of money on a Volvo.

Puke yellow does not bode very well with hide seat leather. Stevie Wonder was in-charge of color scheme?
