Nissan's big checklist to make sure they are known for being "revolutionary" in the marketplace:

GT-R supercar - nearly ready. check.
Improve Skyline/G35 - check.
Make ATTESA AWD available on Maxima - negative
Make ATTESA AWD available on Altima - negative
Offer the Stagea wagon in the USA - negative
Offer small entry performance rear-drive four cylinder sedan/coupe below 350Z - negative

I see lots of SUVs ("crossovers" if you want to buy into the industry bs jargon) and not much SHIFT or REVOLUTION or GREEN from Nissan.

Some work needs to be done to their bread and butter product line of Sentras, Altimas and Maximas first, then some attention paid to their performance enthusiast lineup, and after those prerequisites they can bother with yet another SUV.

Make us care about you, Nissan. The GT-R and G35 make me care. I don't want a G35 and can't afford the GT-R. Make me cars I might want to buy within a lower price bracket.

Automotive News says smaller than Murano with 2.5 liter engine. More of a CR-V/Rav 4 sized competitor.

Maybe it's smaller than the current Murano, to compete with the RDX, X3, CX-7, etc.

I think it is going to be larger (longer for third row) than the Murano, to go along with the whole CX9, Enclave/Outlook/Acadia, etc. craze that is coming. I for one NEED to buy one of those types of vehicles (whatever they are going to call them) since I need the seating for 6. I am interested to see what this will be.

if it is the new murano, they should keep the taillights straight up and down like they are now so it looks more differentiated from the FX
