What’s up with these engineers experimenting with advanced materials and manufacturing processes, new power trains, weight savings? Y’know…practical stuff that could find its way into products that sell to people in the real world?

Everyone knows that concept cars should only have gunslit windows, 24-inch Dubs, swiveling “captains chairs,” and V-12s. Those are the kind of features that will turn the American automobile industry around. Screw this letting engineers actually…engineer something!

Not to mention the cost of repairing or fixing CF after a wreck. Big $$$. But at least Toyota’s looking at the option. If they can get the cost down and address the safety issues, then this may find its way into production vehicles.

LOL, carbon fiber plastic body and they think it will offer superior collision safety… Yea, right until those ultra sharp shards of CF cut the crap out of everyone in the vehicle. I know, they use it in F1 but I’d rather see steel.
