On the surface, this one is about as exciting as watching metallic tan paint dry on a Camry LE. But the all-original, one owner 1955 Volkswagen Beetle eBay offered up last week was a hit, so we couldn’t help but pass on this Bug hauler.
The truck itself is an ugly 1960 Chevrolet workhorse that, according to the less-than-descriptive listing, had a relatively comfortable life hauling hay around a farm in Arkansas. Now, it apparently holds a trio of neglected, somewhat modified Volkswagen Beetle s.
“As you can see she can handle a load,” Kenny, the poetic seller says. That she can: Three Bugs and not a hint of sag over those eight rear wheels.
The best part of the deal: If you click Buy-It-Now and PayPal over a measly $3,500, you’ll be able to drive this truck home with a trio of Bugs on board (and likely quite a few alive and decaying six and eight-legged creatures). Sounds like a bargain to us.
