It's the American automakers own shortsightedness for this. I am excited to see the comeback of the Camaro, but I am more excited to see what the Japanese hybrid market is going to bring in the future. GM, Ford, and Dodge especially need to get on the ball and start research on fuel efficiency and not "how big and thirsty can we make our vehicles". The S2000 replacement is a good idea too. The Nissan/Infiniti GT-R is a definate possibility, after showing the concept at NAIAS last year. Gorgeous! And the Mazda 3 is NOT a C30.
