weird how need more loans sputters at people who just state the truth… oh, and for “being a fan of gm is american” … i always thought the american way of life was betting on the winning horses, not those that croak before they even get to the start…

anyway, gm will be gone for good soon; went the way of the dodo..

Good ridance. Hummer needs to produce Suzuki Samarai and Sidekick size 4x4s too be relevant. GM needs to put the coming 1.4L and present 2.0 Turbo from Solstice in everything, from Colorado to Malibu.

The H3 is passable offroad but sorry to say there pro-GM sheep, all the H2 is is the unofficial Global poster vehicle for all male ego enhancement products. It’s also a symbol of why this country is in the shi&&er – pointless posuers who think the implied military toughness that rubs off the H1 makes them driving an H2 = being a bad a@@.

yarddog, Ford still sucks. Your little story isn’t gonna change my mind. I use my DMax for towing. Ford’s turbos just self destruct, and Dodge’s transmissions fall out. In it’s 140,000 miles of service, I’ve only had to replace a clogged EGR valve. Yea, I’m stickin with Chevy.

Hay need more oil, check this out…
Over a year ago out in Glamis Sand Dunes, I had a tug-a-war with a Hummer, I had my FX4 Ford F-150, at the time I had a 6′ inch lift, 22″ wheels, and 32″ BF-Goods, he had 22″ wheels, 32″ ToYo’s, so the same grip, the had 3.73 gears, I had 3.73 gears, so for the most part both trucks are the same… He blow-out his rear-end… 3 months later I see the same guy, he want’s a rematch, now he has a Daina with 4.10 gears, he blow-out his trans… A month later he’s driving a New FX4 Ford F-150, so I had to one up him, I got the Roush Charger and 3.55 gears. His brother had a stock Z71 Diesel Chevy 2500, I dragged him all over the the Dumes, I even did doughnuts with him chain to me…

And yes It’s a true story, and the guys brother finally got a lift kit and tire’s, and no I’m not giving him a rematch…

The sad thing is that this is a capable vehicle and has a place in the market. It has turned into the poster child of overkill and waste, but that is really more the fault of the wanna-be rappers and soccer moms that cruise the mall parking lot in their Hummers. I hope the brand lives on as a specialty brand like the Ford SVT or Chrysler SRT product lines.
