The famous Ferrari Enzo crash involving former Swedish game company executive Stefan Eriksson to place while he was traveling nearly 200 mph, reports the Malibu Times. New computations based on the skid marks were released by Los Angeles County Sheriff show Eriksson was driving 194 mph when his Enzo Ferrari wiped out Feb. 21. Meanwhile, a videotape shot from inside the car has been seen by at least one witness, who said the digital speedometer read 199 when the tape suddenly went “all flippy” as the camera malfunctioned during the crash.

I really hope that tape becomes evidence and is released to the public. Should be a good show…

I am all for fast cars and the responsible use of them. This on the other hand is insanity and the perp deserves to be forced to drive around in a 1988 Pontiac for at least 3 years.

Eriksson will be forced, but it will be into a cell.

So the real info we learned here is that Ferraris have approx. a 5mph Speedometer error at extremely high speeds – the indicated 199 is actually more like 194. Of course, they might have slightly slowed down right before the crash but I doubt it!

Some who drives a Ferrari, doesn’t drive slow (unless he or she is over 80 years old).

I live for speed (and die for it perhaps). I stopped driving fast after I totalled my Integra Type R. Now that I see what the carbon fibre monocoque can do, I might have to relive my speed days.

On wreckedexotics.com another Enzo owner wrecked around 200mph… but the monocoque was completely shredded and the 41 year old driver died…
Ericcson should be denied driving privileges forever.
