Although Ferrari has long been synonymous with crisp handling, rocket-like acceleration and flat-out performance, the Prancing Horse has never been renowned for reliability. However, Ferrari will at least put a band aid on that drawback, launching a new free roadside assistance service to all Ferrari models out of warranty.
Dubbed ‘With You’, the new roadside assistance program covers all Ferrari models made after 1947 and not currently under Ferrari’s factory of POWER warranties. The With You service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and is good for 12 months after activation.
In addition to roadside assistance, the With Your program will cover any costs of getting the broken down Ferrari to the owner’s house or a certified Ferrari service center. If the break down occurs away from home, the With You program will even cover the cost of a hotel stay.
The With You program just launched in Italy and will soon be available throughout Europe, including Great Britain. Ferrari hasn’t announced if the program will be coming State-side, but given the fact that North America is Ferrari’s largest market, we suspect a press release for a U.S. version of With You will be coming by year’s end.

I assume after the 1 free year, Ferrari owners will need to pay. Either way it’s a small price to pay for the embarrassment of being stuck at the side of the ride in your beautiful Italian sports car!

Pazzo that’s because if you’re sensible you drive a Ferrari on a perfect day when the sun is shining and there isn’t a chance in hell of an afternoon shower. Therefore that only puts it at about 100 days anywhere in the world that you could drive it. Plus who has a Ferrari from the 90’s still on the road. Everyone’s either into the newer age Stallion by now.

But regardless of that, I’m glad to see Ferrari has finally “upgraded” their warranty commitments, which I agree with AutoCrit that it will very much improve the second hand owners desire to own one of Italy’s premier sports cars.

…yeah I’d want a fat redneck covered in grime and motor oil to come down with a AAA tow truck and take responsibility for my Ferrari.

@leftywingy: I’m “With You”, hehe… But like Tom Selleck, at 6′4” I would have to get a GTS so my head can stick up over windshield, even though I like the look of the GTB better. And with the three hard-to-synchronize carbs, we’d need to be “With You” plenty.
