The economic crisis has hit the middle east as hard as any other region, it lost more than a trillion dollars from oil revenues, tourism,and most importantly real estate, which has almost collapsed.I’m not a big fan of theme parks, simply because they think its their duty to milk more money out one’s wallet.

they wouldn’t make one in america because one of our fat rednecks would probably break the roller coaster trying to fit five people in one car. it would also probably not contribute much to their sales, do you buy a special 20 oz collector cup every time you go to six flags?

I wish Ferrari had continued to put more effort into their Formula 1 pursuits this year. Their market in the region (Mid east) is so important, and yet they are bringing an undeveloped F1 car to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix…..

For the people in the Mid East, a Ferrari theme park is like us having a BMW theme park… lol

What? Dubai is literally well known for its’ tourist industry. I’ve known a few people who went to Dubai for vacations or for family visits; they weren’t turned down at all.

If anything, this is just an over glorified amusement park. They’d be stupid to not let non-business customers into the park.

Yeah, as cool as it would be to visit there, the whole thing is wrong IMO. There’s 2 entities that love to throw their money in your face: Ferrari and the middle eastern OPEC nations. We can’t get to alternative fuel fast enough for mainstream transportation.
