#13, I agree with your comments re: Fiat's that don't suck.

Those sketches are marker renderings with pencil highlights. You don't do those on napkins coz the napkins soak up the marker. That's why I'm horrified - these sketches look like they were actually used as presentation level...

Although I will say that as long as it gets the point across, any sketch is a good sketch. I'd just like to see some killer sketches released as part of the presentation pack.

those are some napkin sketches, pretty shitty and though I think cooky concepts are great, you got to question the allocation of resources here (read: waste of money).

how about designing a Fiat that doesnt suck or break down instead?

Sweet mother of god! That's AWFUL! Not withstanding the overwrought detailing and 2F2F wing, the entire design is a pastiche of cliches. And what happened to Fiat's designers? Those are considered professional-level sketches to be distributed to media as background material for the concept?
My apologies for ranting, but after slaving over sketches for presentations, I find it insulting that Fiat would release drivel like that as presentation material to accompany that concept.
On the other hand, if its all meant as a joke...

hmm... put bigger tires on it, cut off the wing, drop in a massive diesel engine, hook up a really sleek tractor trailer, and you have the semi truck of the future...

They should put a bed on it and make it the next style for the Super Duty.. if HD pickups took a crazy turn like this, at least for one model, they'd be a cool new introduction to the truck market. mini-peterbuilt? ill take one..

there isn't anything like it, and I love the 28" DUBS! I'd drive that, maybe on weekends. Something like that everyday and the general public wouldn't be able to handle it.
