    By Nick Aziz

Designed for the upcoming independent film “Jinn,” the Firebreather Camaro was unveiled on Friday at the Autorama custom car show in Detroit. We’ve now added an exclusive video interview with director AJ Amad and star Ray Park, hosted by Jack Baruth (with a little extra help).

The car is destined for a starring role in the supernatural thriller, which is being shot in Michigan over the next few months. Built in partnership with Classic Design Concepts, a limited run of 50 units will be made available to the public later this year. The Firebreather is powered by a 650 horsepower V8 motor and will sell for $60,000 when limited production begins.

The film’s hero is Ray Park, best known for his roles as Darth Maul in “Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace” and Toad in “X-Men.” More recently, Park also played Snake-Eyes in “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.” Park is also expected to have a lead role in “Transformers 3,” but details of his character remain unknown.

“Jinn” is being produced by Exodus Pictures and was written by Mr. Amad, who is also directing the film. Zaheer, a Hollywood veteran, says he returned to the Michigan film scene to help develop its growing motion picture industry

Pontiac won’t be coming back… they’re just using the design of what would have been a Firebird because, of course, it is a Camaro anyway… and it is pretty…

$60.000 for a 630 bhp car??? That’s like 45000 Euros in Germany… Now that is what I call bang for the buck…

i like the front end a lot, nice job there…the back end is even fatter, though, which is probably unavoidable, but still looks horrible…the camaro has a huge ass already, bolting more crap to it and painting the car black isn’t going to hide it….

Speaking of hoosier – a nice flaming bird on the hood would make it the ultimate hoosier car. I could roll in it in Arnold and be the hit of the ball to all my Jeffco brotherin. Put some Busch Light in the back, take off the T-Tops and let the greasy early 90′s styled hair flap in the breeze along with your mustache. I work with alot of mechanics from Jeffco, and they aren’t bad people – but brother – it’s really like that.

No offense to anyone on here from Jeffco, it’s just an easy target.

The Firebreather appearance was designed by the director of the movie (Ajmal) for use in his movie. Other than it being a Camero there is no affiliation with GM, The car is part of the marketing campaign for the movie.

I love it. It’s just too expensive and the interior looks like crap. Put the normal Camaro engines in it, tone it down a little bit, and sell it as a Camaro Firehawk or something.

    31. photo

Of course the interior looks like crap. All American car have horrible interiors. When will they wake up and start learning from Audi? I’d buy the Challenger if it had an Audi interior.

Actually, most of GM’s interiors lately have seem much improved. But the Challenger… I love the car, but the interior makes me cringe. Chrysler went from having cheap, plasticky minivan interiors to having wannabe-upscale, plasticky minivan interiors.

Ford’s gotten a lot better, thanks to Volvo. At least I don’t feel like I’m driving a Crown Vic anymore.

^HoosierHero – LOL – look up hoosier in urbandictionary.com and see what it says. We have a long history of using that word for white trash and there is even different classes of hoosier around the STL.

Too bad about the rear end of this car.
Also, Ray Park cannot act, hence his many silent characters.

“I guess having class is optional?”

I’ll take partying athletes after a Gold winning game over a team that stomps on the opponent’s flag BEFORE they lose any day. I guess class is interpreted differently when your team sucks balls. How many Americans do you think thought that was a classy move four years ago?

      Nice glass house, Jake.

They really went the wrong direction on the rear end. The fit of that bumper at the trunk line looks like I made this.

    52. photo
      skyaficionado152 days ago

Hahaha, All American cars like the Camaro are fantastic.

Especially when they’re made in Canada

The Canadian ladies team may have made a poor decision partying on the ice, but that doesn’t change that Canada is now tied for the record of all time most Golds won in a single Winter Olympics.

All they have to do is stomp the USA tomorrow and the record is ours.

      Thanks for representing!

I’ll let the video, and his adjustments, speak for themselves
If I’ve said anything less than truthful, please let me know
Last I checked, I am entitled to my opinion
I am a taxpayer (most of the time) in the United States

Many here attack me, out of hand
      Personally
      Just for stating my opinion
      And I would never complain
      But I’m a man

If anything, I am the victim here
I’ve been attacked by smarter, faster, better people

I wouldn’t bitch and moan to the webmaster
Anyway, someone has to uphold standards
If I leave, A4 will have this site shut down in 72 hours

In my opinion, no one should be banned
Unless they consistently initiate personal attacks
Any attacks I make are generally retaliatory
If you want a piece of me, that’s fine
But you better bring your lunch

      I play for keeps

This guy you have fronting your videos
I’m sure he’s a sweet guy and all
But he is far from a professional stickman
      Maybe you’re going for a less-than-polished image?
      I have nothing against him
Just my critique as a professional
If you look to pass yourself as a frontman
More Dick Clark, before he stroked out
      Less Ryan Seacrest

      For a not insignificant fee
You may be able to contract my services int his field
If you are ready to upgrade
      Anywho…….

      People, religiously, read my posts
I bring my own fan base

sprockkets – I would say Volvo assisted in providing some of their things like BLIS and collision warning with Auto Brake but that’s about it. I think I would give Ford the majority of the credit for their self improvement. Ford also had to want to improve and wanting it and setting the goal for it is half the battle. They just took some features from Volvo here and there just to add some new features to their cars and set them apart from the rest a bit. (Hopefully Geely does the same and won’t tamper around with Volvo like GM did with SAAB and f#cked them all up) I get the impression that they simply pulled their heads out of their a$$es and said “time to do things with a different approach.” Ford gets much praise from me for it. And I can’t get over the sytling on their new models like their Taurus, Fusion, and Edge. Yeah thats right. I said it. A Taurus is a hot car. What has this world come to? :p

@85ZingoGTR, agreed. Unlike some other automakers, *cough* GM *cough, Ford doesn’t just take a Mazda6, remove the logo and put theirs on it and call it a day.

A Mazda3 shares parts with the Volvo S40 and Euro Focus, but you can’t call any of them simple rebages of each other.
