Fisker, “the other” American electric and exotic carmaker, recently joined Tesla in the market with deliveries of its first model, the Karma, but other models are reportedly on the way.

While Leftlane has already reported on the development on the Karma-based convertible known as the Sunset concept, WhatCar? says Henrik Fisker revealed in a recent interview that model said to be a “mix of a sporty estate and an SUV” will debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show next month.

According to Fisker, the model will share its platform with the Karma, making it a crossover of sorts. The most interesting news likely stems from the fact that the model will supposedly come to market in 2012, being the second model from Fisker, rather than Sunset concept as expected.

The folding hard-top convertible Karma S (Sunset) will reportedly follow the CUV launch with a 2013 launch date. Fisker also intends to launch a second platform, the Nina, which will be smaller and less pricey in 2013.
