Its all about the drivetrain!! Tesla is using a modified AC propultion drivetrain with Teslas own battery pack…thats the real deal!! The style of the Karma is awesome, but can it preform??? We will see.

It is sad that new car development took on software development properties: law suits. Granted Tesla funded by Google twins has much bigger legal war chest then Fisker, but will society will benefit form destruction of competition? All consulting engagements are covered by very strict covenant about using technology learned form engagement and I just don’t believe that covenant was not in the contract. If work was shabby, just don’t pay and sue for lost time to market. But here we have typical Silicon Valley attack on competition because they produced superior product for less investment.

Yes it all seems a little too good for Fisker if you ask me, I’m also curious as to why they would just “deny the allegations” without giving any sort of reasoning, it sounds guilty.

They’re not bringing that design to the market, they scrapped it and started again. They definitely shouldn’t have paid for crappy work though.
It is suspicious that Fisker designed an unusable electric car for a competitor, then turns right around and moves to produce a great electric car for themselves. Hmmmmm…

If you cant beat them: sue them. Next round of law suits by dealers – those people had to invest a decent amount of coin to get franchise, have show room etc. Now with all law suits will either brand be able to deliver vehicles?
It is also stupid suit by Tesla: if Fisker provided you with sub par design you shouldn’t bring product based on it to the market and should not pay for work performed in the first place.
