Yesterday, we reported that sales of the Toyota Prius fell 25 percent in April when compared to April 2005. In fact, sales were down overall Janaury-April compared to the same months in 2005. It didn’t seem logical that supply issues would be more of an issue now than today, but according to Toyota, they are the reason deliveries are down. “If I had the vehicles, we could do 250,000 this year,” Jin Lentz, a group vice president at Toyota, told Bloomberg. “We’re going to end April with just a four-day supply of Prius, and I don’t see that situation improving until later this year.”

actually, considering that there are huge waiting lists at every dealership, i’d know, our family has 2, then they would be able to sell even more than they do already. there are TONS of prius’s on the road, and the only reason they’d stop selling would be due to lack of inventory

Prius drivers are assholes.
i paid $1,500 for my saturn, and it gets 30+ mpg. your lifetime average might be 45. You tell me how long it’ll take to make up that $28,500. Not to mention, my car didn’t come with the attitude problem.
