Ford has released pricing for its 2008 Focus. The entry-level Focus S Coupe will hit showrooms with a sticker price of $14,695 with the Focus S Sedan starting at $14,995. The up-level Focus SE will add $1,000 to the price of the S Coupe and Sedan. The range-topping SES will come standard with Ford’s Sync technology — a $395 option on lesser models — and sticker for $16,695 in coupe form and $16,995 for the Sedan version. All prices include destination charge.
The new Focus commands a slight premium over the 2007 model. While there is no coupe in the current lineup, the 3-door hatchback starts at $13,775 with sedan models starting at $14,660.
According to Ford , the new Focus is 30 pounds lighter, 10% quieter and 3% more powerful than the outgoing model. The interior is also said to be much improved and now offers ambient lighting.
