At least Ford did it right this time and will have an 07 model year for SD's. Does anyone remember the fiasco when they skipped a model year?? The old 97's were extended to December and the new Super Duty for 99 came out in Jan 98? and remember even if the dealer should by accident get an 08 before Jan 1 07, by law it can't be sold until Jan 1 07. Going back into the 70's, and further, this writer experienced the 'carved from rock' feeling of even F250 4WD pickups, used as tow trucks for racing efforts. The order guides and other material to order the 07's have been in the system for many months. you do not just "suddenly" decide you are moving Job 1...
