I don’t understand these “Customizers” & “tuners” out there that slap a bunch of electronics, rims, tv’s, etc. and they called it their own creation.
For example; That garbage show on speedtv called “unique” or whatever. Those guys have no talent whatsoever. They put rims and tv’s on a truck, and WHAM! Now people think they have talent and give ‘em their own show. Waste of time & money in my opinion. Same thing about Flunk Master Flex. Guy doesn’t know jack **** about cars, yet he THINKS & TALKS like he does, and now has his own show.
These people have NO TALENT at all, yet people look up to these guys like they’re car gods. Give Jay Leno a show about cars, then you’ll have something.

OMG EVERYONE…check out the new Expedition Concept FMF came out with. Isn’t it “OFF DA HOOK”? He put rims, stripes, seats, and painted interior trim peices. OMG so out of this world I tell ‘ya.

I know what you mean about Unique Andre. Those guys are terrible. I wouldn’t buy a tweeter from them let alone have them do a bodykit or something. I saw one EP where they screwed up a AMG S55 doing a silly $12k kit. Bad paint or something… Lack of talent more likely.

BUT Funk Master Flex is a cool guy, and he does know his cars and bikes. He just can’t afford them on Leno’s scale. But I know what you mean about the slew of “pimped” car shows. They all look the same after a while, and how many TVs do you need in a car anyway???

You need as many TV & “distractions as you can possible put in one vehicle. As if you didn’t have enough responsibility while your driving safely down the road and making sure all your passengers and pedestrians in good hands, you NEED to have screens EVERYWHERE. LOL.
And who can forget about the upgraded audio systems in these. It’s great when you have ambulances or firetrucks behind you whaling their horns for you to move out of the way, and you can’t see or hear **** because you have 2% tints all around, and your blasting your music loud enough so the whole neighborhood can hear you. I’ve seen it happen.

Flex is just speaking to a different demographic Andre. You’re not in it. I agree Foose has mad talent, and I think the chopper guys are cool. I wasn’t impressed with Foose’s Tahoe, but then I hate the new Tahoe. Didn’t like the old one either. So it could have been covered in nekid ladies with sunshine coming out their asses, and I still wouldn’t want one. The real douche as far as TV car people goes is Boyd Cottington. The one car he built I like was Chezoom 10-15 years ago. Other than that he licks yambag.

With regard to Flex’s customizing talent, I have a pair of the Funkmaster Flex shoes made by Lugz, and they’re honestly one of the best pairs of shoes I’ve ever owned. Three or four pairs of shoes later and I still find myself wearing the FMF Lugz all the time. Sad thing is I don’t think I can buy new ones anymore. I guess I’ll have to settle for this Ford Expedition. It’s really more of a boot, though.

Not my style, sorry. One more tuner that stays off my list. Normally I like what tuners do to vehicles, but some just go over-the-top, like that stupid Hummer tuner, or that asian tuner installing 10′ wings on a BMW.

Notice when he is interviewing or speaking to someone about cars on one of his episodes, he relates to them right away when they talk about rims, paint,audio systems and so on. But once they start getting technical, he chokes and just says, “yeah, yeah, I know what you sayin’.”
