04/02/2007, 11:16 AM

By admin

Coming to dealer showrooms fall 2007, the 2008 Ford Expedition Funkmaster Flex Edition turns the hot Expedition concept vehicle created by hip hop DJ Funkmaster Flex into a limited-production, short wheelbase SUV.

The Expedition FMF will sport a two-tone Colorado Red-and-Black paint scheme with orange pinstriping and special chrome badging, a custom front fascia with integrated fog lamps, side skirts, rear fascia and 20-inch chrome-clad aluminum wheels.

Inside, a matching Colorado Red instrument panel, console bezel, shifter and switch bezels blend with four leather captains chairs with red stitching, FMF red logo headrests and a red-stitched steering wheel. Rounding out the package is Sirius satellite radio and an exclusive numbered dash plaque signed by Funkmaster Flex.

The Expedition FMF Edition also sports a 340-watt Audiophile Sound System, MP3 player audio jack, Powerfold third-row seating, heated and cooled front seats and an optional navigation system, power liftgate and rear-seat DVD entertainment system.

At least in the Ford showrooms they can place the Foose-150, and the Funkmaster Flex next to each other. They are in the same category.

Wheels are too small though, this thing needs 26s or 28s

OPTIONAL ??????

Options in this niche market should be limited to colors and materials.

Have standard 2nd row POWER seats to create buzz, the Escalade doesn’t even offer 2nd row power seats at the rediculus price of $75K.

I actually kind of like it. I’m not a big fan of the Expedition, but FF did a nice low key job on this one.

This thing screams ugly. Why does Ford do this to themselves? I heard Ford is coming out with the Clay Aiken Fusion. It should be pretty good.

Clever post, James. Actually 100% of the black population were not slaves unless they were about 140 years old. Thanks for the knowledge.

3 Cheers for racism!!! I’m sure you pulled yourself out of a couple hundred years of slavery and racism to become such a well rounded person. What all white neighborhood do you live in? Have you met a black person? I know lots of black people some good, some bad and none of them fit into your bigoted, racist, hateful, stereotype. Thanks for making everyone who reads your post dumber. You fail at life. Go walk in traffic.

James you racist dumbass. Every time there’s a post involving someone black you come out of your little cave like a grinch and say something stupid. This has nothing to do with the black race. One black guy helps make a vehicle and automatically everyone on the planet is trying to kiss the black person’s ass. I just dont understand why this guy is so obsessed with black people. James just do everyone a favor and keep your conspiracy beliefs of black people to yourself. Either way thats still a nice truck and if i’d had the money id buy two of them.

I think it’s a bad idea but I see Ford working. Let’s be honest here people buy SUV’s and trick them out all the freakin time, so if Ford what’s to jazz one up and put a name on it who cares? You know someone will buy it. The only question is how many someones?
