Why? This easily gets 5-7mpg more than any import. Plus it is cheaper to buy. And it has good styling. Not like any ugly xA, Yaris, Fit cr@p.

Don’t like the sedan, especially its butt. Something got lost in translation between the Verve and the showroom. Love the hatch, will definitely consider buying one.

If you compare that hood to that of the fiestas already out in europe and asia, this one is far more flat and simplistic. Not sure if that is a good thing as it will make the car look a lot more plain. Gotta wait for the final product to be sure, but I liked the hood and front end on the euro-hatch quite a bit.

Ktulu’s comments always make me laugh. Johnny, look up “ktulu” in Google images, and you’ll see why he has such a hard time typing. His chin tentacles keep getting in the way.

I saw a purple one of these a few weeks ago while I was taking my family to a movie. It was a decent looking vehicle, but I’m not to sure about the interior. It reminds me of an old Siemens cellphone I had a few years back.

Good looking little car but it is certainly small. There is a 4-door (5-door…whatever) hatchback parked outside my apartment and it is still quite a bit smaller than my already small 2-door VW GTI.

This is however about the 5th one I have seen. It is parked in my apartment complex. The first one I saw was more than 6 months ago. Ehh…ONLY benefit of living in metro Detroit is the cars, though not a fan of the Big 3. Some nice ones to see are the 2011 Grand Cherokee (saw that about 2 months ago and it looks BALLER) and the upcoming CTS Coupe I saw 6 months ago or so. Other than that, I could care less. Seeing an S.H.O. Taurus 6 months ago was nice too. I leave the rest up to Car and Driver and Automobile Mag having their editorial offices in Ann Arbor where I work. That allows me to see the rest of the manufacturers. I seen anything from a EURO ONLY Ford Focus RS to a Bugatti Veyron (though there is a Bugatti dealership 30 miles away) and everything in between.

I like that they added the trapezoidal fog lights to the front but didn’t use the Verve 3-bar grille after all.. not sure I like the Dodge Neon-like taillights though. I guess that is supposed to add some styling continuity to the new Taurus around back?
