If everything was just peachy at DCX they could have found some new projects for those 6000 people don’t you think. My point with the Stratus comment was to point out that in any segment where DCX compeats with Toyota they lose on a quality and refinement standpoint. They might sell more Rams than Tundras now but what about 5, 10, or 15 years down the raod. If you don’t have quality now you won’t have customers later.

good god, what does either have to compete with the 300???they are in big trouble. dcx laid off 6000 management and up people not blue colar guys. Ford getting out of minivan business too, I think the town n country and caravan squeeked out 500,000 units last year.

I didn’t really like the SVT Sport Track anyway. The GT was awsome and will be missed….a moment of silence please. Whats a Lincoln? O…they still make those?! Maybe someday Ford, DCX and GM will be on par with the others. If they do make it we, the consumer, will be the winners.

If they need to kill a few brands to survive then so be it.
