nope… unluckily their ending production next month it’s a limited run. I believe they made like 1500 cars or something but as I am not an expert I duno.
I love the Ford GT. It yet again beat the comparable Ferrari models in performance and price.
This car will always have a place in my heart

Damn, the more I see the light blue with the #6 on it the more I want one.
I hope they design a custom Ford Model A Hot Rod as their next supercar, I kinda short term Prowler…
Now that would be sweet in American Graffiti yellow

Can’t Ford actually build a flagship car they can sell on a long term basis ? maybe they should learn from GM and Dodge as they seem to have no problems selling the Viper and Corvete Z06 ongoingly. so I guess the Ford GT was just a short term advirtising scheme then… Once again Ford is without a real flagship performance car, as usual…

Yes, Ford did care, Little johnny Holmes. They put MANY hours of work into the car, making it better at daily driving and they had to make some MAJOR changes to allow this. If you want to read more on the GT40, as always I will list my sources here is more on it:

this is a great car, and will always have a place in my heart. They took many hours in making it look more modern and give it better comforts than the original, and let me tell you FORD DID CARE.

I can well see that the Ford GT got all the praise and rank it deserves to have
as a GT car. I like hundreds of Motorsport Lovers have not seen it racing like
it used to. American and European Racing Circuits love to see and hear again
this Ford Racing Legend winning again and show other makes on track racing
who is champ. Le Mans/Daytona/Sebring Cry for such GT. Same goes to the
Mustang GT. We have to keep the moto FORD IS MOTORSPORT. Hope to see
My and others dream at the Tracks..

aren’t they all there for a mutual complain????….the car seems never been working and suffering a lot of trouble.(see Jeremy Clarksons car)…don’t get me wrong, it’s gorgeous classic motor car, no doubt.

Ford should bring back the PANTERA,they already have the platform for it. Make it lighter and bump the power using twin turbo, like heffner performance uses on the GT. Always loved the look of the PANTERA.

Wish I would have known this was going it, it would have been great to stop by and take a listen to all of them arriving and leaving. There was a meet on Thursday night at the Saleen plant in Troy with more then a few GTs in attendance, as well as some Saleen Mustangs, a few classics ’stangs and a Saleen S7 on display. I wish I had time to actually stop by, instead I slowed down and took it all in…. nothing I wont see on Woodward in the next 10 days
As for JJ comments about the car not working… Clarkston’s car has mainly suffered from the alarm/kill system that Ford had to install on all English bound GTs due to the high car theft rate in England. All the owners I have talked to in the U.S. have never had an issue other then a few who had the recalls on the swingarm and the crank. All have stated it was quickly taken care of and the car has been more reliable then some of their other rides.
