I have a 2010 harley f450 and I love it. I also have a big d*ck and a lot of money, both of which my wife loves! I use my truck to haul cars and since I spend a lot of time on the road I wanted something that was really nice comfortable with all the bells and whistles. I found exactly what I was looking for with this truck. If only I could make it a little easier for my wife to get across the center console when I am driving!

IF I had to buy a truck to do work, I would skip these toy trucks and go buy a commercial truck.

An over-glorified Fru-Fru pickup is still just a pickup, not a commercial heavy duty purpose built truck.

SJMURRAY: I agree w/point of let people be people. But I still dont like posers or people who are grasping for an image that they dont belong to. Grandmas w/tats, bankers w/Harleys, white kids dressed like rappers, hair dressers w/Ferraris, etc. If you need a big rig all the more power to you but if you ar ebuying this to haul a Harley or a bag of feed, your a dumbass.

I’ve always thought that Ford’s where for hicks. You really see a lot some of these types of trucks in the country than in populated cities.

Oh… and a gallon of regular was going for $4.19 this morning at the two stations that had it… cops were directing traffic… had the highway backed up for miles and miles… I couldn’t even get to Wal-mart last night to buy groceries b/c of the number of people waiting for gas. People are abandoning their cars in parking lots near gas stations and taking the bus or a cab home… maybe we’ll have some fuel by monday.

Yeah… it’s pretty crazy… but there really is no excuse. We squashed Osama and the Taliban, liberated Iraq from Saddam, give billions in aid to the starving people of Africa, and yet can’t seem to get one oil pipeline from Texas to NC working. Doesn’t that seem a bit odd?

the harley is a little over the top. the flames look a little cheap. like they bought a $20 kit for a pt cruiser and decided, what the heck. the cabela has a little more class.

i’d say if you really would use the truck for what it was built for, go ahead. otherwise, what a waste of perfectly good engineering to pick up the kids and groceries. and stay the frack out of parking lots with it. go to a truck stop.

Yard dog, it’s because of the hurricane that hit the Southeast. So many gas stations and things were destroyed, and so many people were displaced, that there is a gas shortage in that area.

SJMURRAY –> Please… come down to Charlotte. One station out of 10 actually has fuel right now… people are waiting over an hour to get it. It’s no longer a matter of how much you can afford to pay for the gas… it’s if you can find any at all. All the rich salesmen at my work with their brand new Escalades and Silverados are envying little ol’ me with my 4-banger Cobalt right now… I only have to worry about finding gas once every two weeks… not every 3-4 days like those suckers.

Why you hate… there are people that need a truck for work, I have a customer that transports motorcycles, not so much Harley-Davidson’s I thank… but just like him I have other customers that do have a need of a Ford F-450 and bigger, so if you can, why don’t you get a truck (or car) with theme you may like??? I’m just saying…

The Cabela’s one is nice. I’d buy that truck if I needed one. I don’t, so I won’t. But it looks good.

The Harley one is just a bit too much unnecessary flair for me.

Why is it that when someone can afford something nice, those that cannot always claim they must be compensating for something? Or in this case, retarded. I do not own a Ford SuperDuty, but I my opinions is that they are a very nice and very capable truck. If someone wants a SuperDuty with flames and leather seats, good for them. I mean honestly, why would I care? There are many people out there who are not affected by the price of fuel and can easily drop down $60k for a new truck. If this is what they like, and they can afford it, good for them. I don’t automatically assume they are retarded or lacking reproduction skills. However, you can almost always tell those that are lacking – they are the first to say someone else must be.

If your thing in a Audi A3, good for you. If it is a Chrysler minivan, enjoy it. If it s a 1 ton pickup, I guess I’ll see you at Home Depot. Just because many people are miserable and hurting in the current economy does not mean that everyone is. In fact, I would say the majority of people are just fine and whether fuel if $2.00 or $7.00 they will keep buying trucks like this. Good for them and good for Ford for still putting new products out there.

These trucks are retarded, no one who buys one would use it properly, so instead you have to try and not hit it when you are parking because for some reason they think they can take up more than their spot. And it’s even better when they decide to parallel park, taking up a third of the street. Take it offroad and use it!

Ford expects to sell 1 of each model for 2009. Look for a Harley Edition 4-banger Ranger in 2010.
